Black Door Bar & Dining Rooms is located on Bridge Street in the beautiful Northumberland market town of Morpeth. Previously Henris Brasserie, the site will undergo a £500,000 renovation during June and July. Black Door Bar & Dining Rooms will open its doors on 18th July 2008, heralding a new era in the colourful history of this infamous watering hole.
Now a Black Door Group venue it will bring a new dimension in enjoyment and relaxation to this vibrant market town in stunning Northumberland.
Black Door Bar & Dining Rooms is a wonderfully relaxing environment. Eclectic design, rustic furniture, craggy stone floors and service how it should be, friendly and knowledgeable. 3 floors of drinking and eating to satisfy everybody’s taste, a line-up of cask ales, guest beers, ciders and a seriously impressive wine list.
Then as for the food, you’re in for a treat. North East Chef of the Year David Kennedy has produced a menu full of traditional dishes, great British classics but with a delightfully contemporary twist honouring the produce of our great local suppliers.
